The Ceramic collection is made from clay on which a liquid enamel layer is added. This layer is called engobe. The result is a beautiful matte finish. The Ceramic planters are produced in a traditional manner in Portugal. The planters are baked at temperatures up to 1020 degrees Celsius. Certain parts of the oven are hotter than other parts of the oven which effects the size or colour of the final product. This is a real craft which makes every planter unique.
